In this model, the Cadet is in an I/Thou relationship with the Divine. This relationship mirrors that of Pygmalion and Galatea: the God/dess is the Sculptor, and the Cadet’s Highest Self is the statue She is lovingly shaping. At the highest metaphysical level, this drama reflects MA creating PA to be Her complement. At the level of human experience—at the bottom of the karmic well—it is the Creatrix crafting Her creature.
The field in which the Cadet realizes their Highest Self is characterized by sacred play. The Cadet and the Source of their Being are playmates.
The Cadet’s development in Entheogenic Fitness Training can thus be imagined as a divine game. In the beginning, the God/dess makes Her presence known through gratuitous grace: moments of overwhelming joy, beauty, and revelation. These glimpses are repeated just often enough, and with sufficient intensity, to ensure that the Cadet becomes deeply attached to Her presence—no other source of fulfillment will suffice.
Once the bond is secure, the God/dess begins a new game: hide-and-seek. At first, She introduces obstacles that must be overcome (Resistance). As the Cadet learns to meet these challenges, She withdraws further, initiating the Dark Night of the Soul. This is not cruelty but sacred kink: She desires the Cadet’s suffering—not for its own sake, but to intensify their seeking, to sharpen their longing, and to mature their love.
In time, the game evolves into Seek-a-Boo: the Cadet comes to know, through hard-won Gnosis, that She is always there—waiting just beyond the edge of ordinary perception. They realize that through the exertion of Belief, they can bridge the apparent gap between them and make Her presence manifest once again.
Finally, when the Cadet achieves perfect Belief—completely disidentifying with their ego-body and recollecting themselves as a spirit, a fractal of the Higher Self—the God/dess hides no longer. The I/Thou relationship becomes one of perfect mutual regard: playful, loving, and everlasting.
At every stage, the game remains sacred. Even the agony is infused with the playfulness of MA, whose deepest impulse is not to punish, but to draw Her beloved into deeper intimacy through the paradox of absence and presence, longing and fulfillment, suffering and joy.
